Brenda Bingenheimer (Nana)
When I was in my teens, I helped cook and bake for the men at harvest time, and I learned to do it from Allen's aunt Martha. I met my husband on the farm when I was 6. I married my childhood sweetheart! He was my cookie monster who always wanted my cookies. I also helped bake snacks before milking, and enjoyed making cookies for my dad, the church, and friends. When I married Allen 48 years ago I made my first cookies, which were peanut butter and sugar cookies. Then we had Tonya and she was our life. I became the mom who was asked to bring food to school for parties for years. Allen and I own a lawn service and a craft business. Our grandson Dhylan talked us into starting this cookie business. I agreed because I enjoy every second that I get to spend baking with my family. My family is very important to me, and I want to always be there for them and make as many memories as possible. At Christmas time we always get together to bake cookies. Callie, Tonya, and Dhylan even have their own apron! I love to watch Dhylan ride his dirtbike and run. I love to watch Callie play volleyball and softball. A few years ago we got a place in Florida, and I have been making cookies for the people down there ever since. They absolutely love them, and I occasionally ship cookies to them. I like to make cookies, but I like to give them away even more. Hearing people tell us how good and soft our cookies are fills me with joy. Now that our cookie business is up and running, we are able to make more memories than ever since we are busy making cookies as a family. God has truly blessed me with my family. God is the foundation of this cookie business, and always will be.
